Position Synopsis
The Part-Time Statistics Analyst I role is a critical position within blithequark's Data and Information Gathering team. As a Details Expert I, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of sports data on blithequark platforms worldwide, including television graphics, the Bottom Line, blithequark.com, and more. You will work with automated data feeds and utilize manual data entry to guarantee the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful sports information. Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee sports information disseminated by Data and Information is accurate, timely, and insightful, meeting the high standards of blithequark.
- Work individually and in teams to deliver accurate detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other metrics and data in real-time that power a multitude of blithequark products and creations.
- Create and maintain a working knowledge of Data and Information's role in fueling blithequark digital products and television productions, staying updated on the latest trends and technologies.
- Verify the accuracy of your own work and that of others; perform with a consistently high level of attention to detail, ensuring the quality of our sports data.
- Contribute to production, operations, and initiatives across the newsroom, and support newsroom leaders who are coordinating full- and part-time staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Anticipate potential issues, both daily and long-term, and offer possible solutions. Communicate quickly and clearly with colleagues on these issues, promoting effective problem-solving and teamwork.
