About the Role
As a Professional Music Teacher at Music and Arts, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to a diverse population of students. You will communicate with parents and students to ensure that each student is making progress and achieving their musical goals. You will work with our store team to maximize the lesson experience and create a positive and supportive learning environment. Essential Functions
- Teach music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, including private and group lessons.
- Communicate with parents and students to ensure that each student is making progress and achieving their musical goals.
- Work with students in our clean and safe studios or through online lessons.
- Collaborate with store team to maximize the lesson experience and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in store events and promotions to help drive sales and grow the business.

Skills, Experience, and Education
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in music education or a related field, or equivalent substitutable experience.
- Music Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of music teaching experience, preferably in a private lesson setting.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for Music: A passion for music and a desire to inspire and educate the next generation of musicians.
