As a Project Associate, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team of healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the success of our revenue recovery efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards
- Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality
- Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain required information on patients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support revenue recovery efforts
- Assisting with information gathering and data entry as needed by the recovery team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Scanning and indexing documents, maintaining organized and up-to-date records and files
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
