Key Responsibilities
As a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of Olive Branch, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
- Collaborating with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, ensuring each student receives the support they need.
- Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions to identify areas for improvement.
- Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes to enhance student learning.
- Maintaining a safe and professional learning environment that promotes student success and well-being.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful as a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of Olive Branch, you'll need:
- A passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and team members.
- An eagerness to learn and be trained on our proprietary Mathnasium Method™ and teaching practices.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, demonstrated through a math literacy test.
- The ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Work authorization and a clear background check.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math.
- A degree in mathematics or education.
- Experience working with students in grades 2nd-12th.

Work Environment and Company Culture

Compensation and Benefits
