About the Role: Intervention Specialist
As an Intervention Specialist at Imagine Learning, you will play a critical role in providing targeted and intensive supports to students across our online educational platforms. This position is a key part of our Synchronous Educational Services team, working collaboratively to help students with diverse needs grow and demonstrate identified competencies. Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver intensive interventions to small groups of students using research-based instructional best practices in an online environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to determine proper targeted supports for students, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their educational needs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including students, educators, and parents, providing support, rationale, and feedback.
- Utilize data to inform decisions regarding instructional strategies, paths of growth, and student transitions.
- Interface with customers via various channels (email, chat, phone), providing professional and timely responses to inquiries.
- Create and manage intervention schedules, ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work efficiently within a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and demanding timeframes.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as an Intervention Specialist at Imagine Learning, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching or academic intervention experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- An active teaching certification/license.
- Experience supporting students and educators in blended, virtual, or online learning environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- A highly motivated and organized individual with a growth mindset, able to generate creative solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with online video chat and database software.
- The ability to work flexibly, including willingness to work varied hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy:
- Understanding of student intervention best practices.
- Experience with data-driven instruction and student assessment.
- Familiarity with educational technology platforms.
