We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated international freight forwarding professional to join our team as an ocean product development and strategy implementation expert. In this critical role, you will be responsible for executing strategies that support the growth of ocean volumes, enhancing the development of our ocean product, and driving business success through effective carrier development, pricing, and service analysis. You will work closely with the Managing Director of Ocean, as well as other key stakeholders, to develop and implement pricing programs, analyze market conditions, and communicate strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 8 years of experience in the international freight forwarding industry, including direct ocean experience in working with ocean contracts, negotiating ocean rates, quoting ocean rates, analyzing ocean rates, and routing. Prior ocean carrier experience is a plus. You will also need to be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong business orientation and remarkable business acumen.
