About the Role: Making a Difference in the Lives of Students
As a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with VocoVision, you will play a vital role in providing speech services to K-12 students, with a primary focus on elementary students and consultative support for middle and high school students. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments to determine students' speech and language needs, using a variety of evaluation tools and techniques
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each student
- Provide engaging, remote speech therapy sessions, utilizing innovative teletherapy tools and strategies to promote student participation and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordinated support for each student
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports
- Attend relevant meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, to contribute to the development of comprehensive educational plans
Requirements for Success:

- Master's Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Idaho Licensure: Be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Idaho
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification: Hold current ASHA CCC-SLP certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field
- Prior Experience: Have prior experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary students
