About the Role
This is a temporary, contract position of 40 hours per week, lasting 6 months. Upon successful completion, there may be an opportunity for a full-time role. As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering and modifying data within our digital databases. Your tasks will include transferring information from paper documents to digital spreadsheets, and ensuring accuracy by double-checking your entries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of information and handle sensitive data with care.
- Data Entry: Enter customer and account data by inputting both text and numerical information from source documents within specified deadlines.
- Data Compilation and Verification: Compile, verify accuracy, and organize information based on priorities to prepare it for computer entry.
- Data Review and Correction: Review data for errors or deficiencies, correct incompatibilities when possible, and check the final output.
- Research and Information Gathering: Research and gather additional information for incomplete documents.
- Data Program Techniques and Procedures: Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure efficient data entry.
- Reporting and Data Storage: Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
