Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to passengers' needs and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks, demonstrate the use of safety equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Prepare and serve meals and beverages, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized cabin environment
- Respond to emergency situations, provide first aid and medical assistance when needed, and follow established procedures for handling unusual situations
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure the smooth operation of the flight, and participate in pre-flight and post-flight briefings
- Comply with Delta's policies, procedures, and safety standards, and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel documents
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and thorough background check
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds, and to stand, walk, and move around the cabin for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
- Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages spoken in destinations served by Delta
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, safety procedures, and emergency protocols
- Certification in first aid, CPR, or other relevant medical training
