Key Responsibilities
- Learn and perform standard 25 and 50-minute one-on-one stretch sessions, tailoring your approach to each client's needs and goals.
- Assess clients' bodies, discuss outcome goals, and provide personalized recommendations for future visits and membership options.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a high-end experience for every client and fostering a welcoming environment.
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, promoting progress and results.
- Build and retain StretchLab membership through sales, outreach to leads, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Manage client care by updating client notes, booking recurring appointments, and ensuring the safety of clients during stretch sessions.
- Participate in staff meetings, educational presentations, and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed.
- Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and well-maintained, ready for client use at all times.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you must possess:
- A nationally recognized certification and/or license in a relevant field such as physical therapy, chiropractic care, personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction, or Pilates teaching.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting.
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to connect with clients and motivate them to achieve their goals.
- The physical capability to perform stretch routines on clients of all sizes and age groups, including the ability to lift a minimum of 25-30 lbs above the head with ease.
- A passion for continually learning new principles in stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness, health, and nutrition.
- Hands-on training and experience in areas such as anatomy, kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention are highly desirable.
- A positive and passionate attitude towards helping others achieve long-term progress and results.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and maintain an open mind.
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies.
- Availability to participate in our comprehensive 2-day Flexologist Training Program, including online tutorials and in-person training.
