About the Role
We're seeking experienced Evening Drivers or Couriers to join our team in Maidenhead. As a key member of our team, you'll have the flexibility to work on your own schedule, choosing when and where you want to make deliveries or transport riders. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere and enjoy a better work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Courier: Pick up and deliver orders from restaurants and merchants in Maidenhead, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Driver-partners: Transport riders to their desired destination, providing a safe and comfortable experience.
- Flexibility: Make deliveries and pick up riders on your own schedule, choosing when and where you want to work.
- Quick payday: Get paid up to 5 times per day with Uber's Instant Pay, making it easy to manage your finances.
- Tips: Keep 100% of the tips you receive, rewarding your excellent service.
- 24/7 support: Get turn-by-turn directions with the app and access support at any time and on any day when you need help.
Qualifications and Requirements
To become an Evening Driver or Courier with Uber, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:
Courier Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driving licence and vehicle insurance (depending on vehicle type, must include cover for food delivery).
- Local requirements may also apply.
Driver-partner Qualifications
- A UK driving licence, insurance, and an eligible vehicle.
- A private-hire driving licence and vehicle licence. You'll need to get these from a council that Uber is licensed by. We can help you get started with a personalised Ignition appointment where we offer advice and support through the licensing process after you sign up.
- An MOT certificate.
- A vehicle logbook.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
