At the Division of Environmental Health & Public Safety, we are dedicated to reducing risks within the NC State community and promoting safety and environmental stewardship as a core value in our university culture. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Emergency Management and Mission Continuity Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Emergency Management & Mission Continuity department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing emergency planning and continuity programming to ensure the institution's preparedness and resilience in the face of crises.

Job Overview

The Emergency Management and Mission Continuity Manager will report to the Senior Director for Emergency Preparedness and Strategic Initiatives and will have overall leadership responsibility for managing operations, training, and monitoring performance. The successful candidate will be accountable for applicable programming and additional consideration directed at all university locations and international study abroad sites and activities. This is a broad scope management level position that requires substantial independent judgment and decision-making authority.
