Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on the design, development, and testing of cabin and network systems for our aircraft. Key Responsibilities

• Design and build electrical accommodations for airplane hardware (LRUs) to be tested in a laboratory environment
• Develop designs from engineering test requirements and test plans
• Research test system design requirements and data using aircraft LRU drawings, system schematics, and interface control documents
• Develop detailed designs in Catia
• Coordinate all activities required for parts purchasing and end-item fabrication
• Install, integrate, and checkout test systems into the lab environment
• Support ongoing test activities and changes to test capability as necessary
• Produce design documentation in drawing form

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational foundation in electrical engineering or a related field, as well as relevant work experience. The following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
• 2+ years of experience with electrical design
• Experience using design CAD tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Systems test experience
• Experience working with test system design
• Experience in mechanical packaging
• Experience with Drafting Standards
• Experience with airplane system avionics, ICD data, and airplane schematics
