Key Responsibilities and Expectations
As an Education Consultant 4, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including:
- Building and maintaining a strong cadre of trained mentors and content leaders across the state, providing them with the support, resources, and guidance they need to excel in their roles.
- Developing and implementing systems to gather and analyze data on Teacher Leader effectiveness, using this data to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Designing and delivering high-quality mentor and content leader preparation programs, ensuring that these programs are available to all school systems and meet the diverse needs of educators across the state.
- Overseeing the expansion of the Pre-Educator pathway and other state-wide grow-your-own strategies, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, address challenges, and drive progress.
- Providing expert guidance, support, and technical assistance to educators, schools, and districts, helping them to navigate complex issues, address challenges, and achieve their goals.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

- A baccalaureate degree plus five years of professional-level experience in teaching or education, or in a public or private sector setting.
- A master's degree plus four years of professional-level experience in teaching or education, or in a public or private sector setting.
- A master's degree in education plus three years of professional-level experience in teaching or education, or in a public or private sector setting.
- Exceptional strategic problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to organize and draw conclusions from large sets of data.
