**Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Operator II, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient data into our information system. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing, interpreting, editing, and verifying patient demographics
* Logging onto the computer and entering all appropriate requisition data in an accurate and efficient manner
* Using all inquiry functions on the computerized terminal (CRT)
* Reviewing data entered into the system to ensure its accuracy and completeness
* Microfilming requisitions to provide documentation retrieval for error audits
* Filing requisitions according to department specifications
* Maintaining a neat and orderly workstation and area immediately surrounding the workstation
* Consistently keying a minimum of 500 requisitions per shift
* Keeping up to date on all new procedure changes and clients with special keying requirements
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1-3 years of experience in data entry or a related field
* 1 year prior CRT experience is required
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to maintain composure while managing multiple tasks
* Adaptability to change and ability to grasp information and make accurate decisions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
* Concentration on task/details and ability to examine and observe details
**Physical and Mental Requirements**
As a Data Entry Operator II, you will need to:
* Lift light to moderately heavy objects
* Lifting and carrying objects with a weight range of 1 to 15 pounds
* Sit or stand for long periods of time; requires long hours of eye and hand coordination
* Perform repetitive tasks with dominant hand frequently to constantly throughout the day
