About the Role
The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in educating union members about the benefits available to them through their affiliation. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing personalized support and guidance on benefits that can make a significant difference in their lives. As a benefits coordinator, you will be responsible for responding to member inquiries, providing information on available benefits, and assisting with the opt-in process for additional benefits. With no cold calling required, you will focus on building strong relationships with our union partners and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels, providing accurate and timely information on available benefits
- Educate members on the benefits of their union affiliation, including health insurance, life insurance, and other perks
- Assist members with the opt-in process for additional benefits, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with union partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in benefits administration, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member complaints and concerns, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions
Requirements and Qualifications

- Knowledge of labor unions, credit unions, or associations, with an understanding of the benefits and services they provide
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and complaints
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
