About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team at blithequark, based in the Wollongong office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office, providing the perfect blend of collaboration, connection, and flexibility. As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our fund members, ensuring their inquiries are handled with care, professionalism, and a personal touch.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Officer at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails from fund members, providing factual information to assist with enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Actively listening to members to gain a practical understanding of their situation, building rapport, and offering empathetic assistance to ensure their needs are met.
- Ensuring enquiries requiring follow-up are placed in the relevant queue for further action, documenting client issues, and escalating issues to appropriate parties to resolve.
- Researching to respond to customer inquiries and responding formally to correspondence, either verbally or in writing, utilising all reference material necessary to provide an informed response to the customer.
- Providing exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations, and contributing to the development of a positive and supportive team culture.
Essential Qualifications
