Our team members are the heart of our organization, and we're proud to offer a dynamic work environment that fosters growth, learning, and community involvement. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience through exceptional service, product knowledge, and interpersonal skills * Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers * Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required * Previous retail or customer service experience preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods * Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting * Knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
