Job Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Associates to join our team in Houston, USA. As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable and satisfying experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model and convey a distinctive and superb client experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Register sales on allocated sales registers, provide clients with polite, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately and promptly.
- Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues and inquiries to ensure a positive client experience.
- Recommend items for sale to clients and suggest upsell and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain counters and retire areas clean and well-promoted, take inventory, and keep records up to date.
- Execute organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss, and ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled products.
- Develop and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock, and complete resets and revisions as directed.
- Assist with the separation of food items and product placement as determined by policies/procedures, and aid in stock rotation, using the first-in, first-out strategy, and restock outs.
- Provide customer support in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and sell special photo items.
- Take on web pick obligations, screen orders in Picture Care Plus, handle orders (pick items), and deliver orders to clients as they arrive at the store.
- Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, sleek, systematic store environment and appearance.
- Conform to all organization policies and procedures, and maintain respectful relationships with colleagues.
- Complete special tasks and other assignments as allocated.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Previous work experience with blithequark.
- Ability to communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Eagerness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
