Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to American Express Card Members, providing personalized support and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing American Express and upholding our values and standards.
- Utilize your knowledge and expertise to provide travel, card, and lifestyle recommendations to Card Members, enhancing their overall experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and concerns, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Demonstrate a customer-first approach, anticipating and meeting the needs of Card Members to drive loyalty and satisfaction.
- Provide concierge services, including travel arrangements and reservations, to Card Members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 support for our Card Members.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and delight customers.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to think creatively and resolve customer issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and driving shared goals.
- A high level of professionalism and integrity, upholding American Express's values and standards.
- Technical skills, including the ability to navigate multiple technology platforms and adapt to changing systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous:
- Experience working in a lounge or airport environment, providing concierge services to travelers.
- Knowledge of travel industry systems and processes, including reservation systems and travel arrangements.
- Previous experience working with American Express or other premium brands.
- A degree or certification in a relevant field, such as hospitality or customer service.
