Job Overview: Papa Pal Caregiver

As a Papa Pal caregiver in San Antonio, TX, you'll be responsible for providing part-time companionship and assistance to seniors and families. Your role will involve helping with daily tasks, running errands, providing transportation, and most importantly, offering friendly company and emotional support. We're seeking individuals who are not only caring and compassionate but also reliable, patient, and flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and families
• Assist with daily tasks, such as light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
• Run errands and provide transportation to appointments and social events
• Engage in activities and hobbies with clients, promoting their physical and mental well-being
• Use our mobile app to manage your schedule, receive visit requests, and log your activities
• Maintain accurate records of visits, including notes and feedback
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Papa's support team

Requirements and Qualifications:

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and committed to delivering exceptional care. While prior caregiving experience is not required, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:

• Age 21 or older
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Valid U.S. issued driver's license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a background check and motor vehicle report
• Proof of valid vehicle insurance with your name on the policy
• Access to a smartphone and a vehicle (2008 or newer)
• Kind-hearted, patient, and caring attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience caring for seniors or family members
• First aid and CPR certification
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
