About Our Company and the Role

As an ABA Behavior Therapist/Behavior Technician with our organization, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum.
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans.
- Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and execute treatment plans as directed by a BCBA Supervisor.
- Collaborate with BCBA Supervisors to apply basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a goal-oriented approach to your work.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology).
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting.
- 1 year of ABA experience or equivalent experience in related roles such as Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, or ABA Tutor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license.
- The ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities requiring fine and gross motor skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience using Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plans with youth and families.
