Job Summary:
- Design and deliver engaging English language lessons to students of various ages and proficiency levels
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student participation and motivation
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials
- Utilize technology to enhance instruction, track student progress, and communicate with students and colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, share best practices, and support student learning
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license (Alaska teaching certificate preferred)
- Proven experience in teaching English as a second language, preferably in an immersion setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency in online learning platforms and tools
