My client have created a cloud native platform that sells to CSP's for 5G. The platform reduces latency, improves customer experience and drives network automation; all of which will be essential for 5G and to reduce churn. We are searching for a senior sales engineer based in the US mainly focused on Verizon, but covering Tier 1 carriers in N.America, for 5G Core. Responsibilities... ? Develop and Support sales activities within Verizon and other Tier 1 accounts. ? Conduct technical sales presentations and demo?s to customers. ? Take part in POC?s from inception to deployment. ? Lead POC activities with customers. ? Business development and sales support responsibilities. ? Understand pricing mechanisms and support sales team in building commercial proposals. ? Maintain contact and open communication with customers to assist with future needs. ? Active in tender submissions . ? Preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, quotation, timeline, project plan, and solution proposals. What You Need ? 7+ years of experience as a sales / solutions consulting for a software vendor or service provider in the 5G Core space. ? Understanding of 4G and 5G technologies including IMS, EPC, 5G Core, Network Analytics and RAN. ? 5+ years experience working with Verizon would be preferred but will consider experience with TMO or AT&T. ? Strong understand of cloud native deployments. ? Understanding of NFV, either VNF or Container based, would be a plus. ? Strong presentation skills. ? BSc Computer Science / Engineering
