Director of Business Development - B2B Position Overview... We seek an experienced and strategic Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and drive the expansion of our business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, subscription sales, and a strong technology background. This role requires a dynamic leader who can identify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key clients, and develop strategies to achieve our sales targets. Key Responsibilities ? Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets. ? Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and new markets. ? Lead and manage the B2B sales, providing direction to achieve goals. ? Oversee the subscription sales process, ensuring a smooth customer experience from initial contact through to renewal. ? Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, and product development to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. ? Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategies and identify new opportunities. ? Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. ? Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and attract potential clients. Qualifications ? Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred. ? Proven experience (10+ years) in B2B sales and subscription sales, preferably within the technology sector. ? Strong understanding of technology products and services, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. ? Demonstrated success in developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth. ? Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams. ? Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. ? Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. ? Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ? Willing to travel. Remote role in the U.S. Salary: $200,000 - $240,000/yr plus commission & equity
