Job Title: FL-DOE-OSFA-Customer Service Representative (Onsite) Job Type: Contract (May 23, 2025 ??June 30, 2025, with potential renewal) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM ??5:00 PM Work Location: Onsite ??Tallahassee, FL Job Summary: We're seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the Office of Student Financial Assistance by answering calls from Florida high school and college students about scholarship and grant opportunities. This is a public-facing role ideal for individuals who are calm under pressure, comfortable using computers, and enjoy helping others. Responsibilities: ??Handle inbound calls from students and families regarding scholarships and grants ??Provide accurate and timely information following provided guidelines ??Log and manage interactions using computer systems ??Escalate complex or unresolved issues appropriately Required Qualifications: ??High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent ??Strong communication and interpersonal skills ??Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure calls ??Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills Preferred Qualifications: ??Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment ??Familiarity with state or educational programs a plus Job Type: Contract Pay: $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Shift: ??Morning shift Work Location: On the road
