Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Manage incoming calls, chats, and emails from policyholders, agents, and producers, providing timely and effective support.
• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction, using your excellent communication skills and insurance industry knowledge.
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools, ensuring that customers receive the support they need.
• Meet personal and team customer service targets and performance measures, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
• Answer questions about underwriting concerns related to home inspections and select property and liability hazards, showcasing your understanding of insurance industry terminology and procedures.
• Handle product eligibility and underwriting inquiries from producers, providing expert guidance and support.
• Process policy changes, including endorsements, cancellations, customer name changes, and mailing address changes, ensuring that customer records are up-to-date.
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and customer-centric approach.
• Keep records of customer interactions and file documents, maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies, ensuring that you're always representing blithequark in a professional and positive manner.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:

• A high work ethic, punctuality, and dependability, with a history of good attendance.
• Proven successful customer support experience, demonstrating your ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
• A track record of achieving targets and goals, showcasing your drive and motivation.

• Customer orientation and a strong ability to multi-task, particularly while talking with customers and resolving their inquiries.
• Proficiency in navigating Windows-based computers and using multiple software applications across two monitors.

• Flexibility to work varying hours between 8 AM to 9 PM EDT Mon-Fri, and occasional overtime on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Homeowners Insurance, providing valuable industry knowledge and insights.
