Job Description:
• Participate as an active member of a SAFe Scrum Team, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure in alignment with architectural guidance and program-level standards
• Implement cloud solutions based on refined user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical enablers defined within the Program Backlog
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to support repeatable, automated deployments
• Support DevSecOps practices by integrating automated security scanning, quality checks, and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify and remediate technical debt as part of backlog prioritization and continuous improvement activities
• Support application build, deployment, and release activities across development, test, staging, and production environments, including hybrid on-prem and cloud deployments
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and related tooling
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure cloud implementations meet security controls, accreditation requirements, and secure configuration baselines
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost efficiency; implement optimizations as backlog items or technical enablers
• Provide Level III operational support, including incident response, root cause analysis, and defect resolution in coordination with operations and SMEs
• Support system integration, testing, and validation efforts by preparing test environments, test data, and automation support for performance, integration, and regression testing
• Contribute technical input to PI Planning, dependency identification, and risk management activities (ROAM) at the team and program levels
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring adherence to cloud-native design principles and program cybersecurity requirements
Requirements:
• 3–6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Experience working with OpenShift in an Azure-hosted environment
• Practical experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery teams
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform and ARM templates
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git
• Working knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience integrating automated security, code quality, and testing tools within DevSecOps pipelines
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex cloud, pipeline, and deployment issues
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional Scrum teams
• Ability to manage competing priorities while supporting sprint commitments and program milestones
• Prior experience supporting cloud migration or application modernization efforts
• Familiarity with cost management, performance tuning, and monitoring tools in Azure
• Experience supporting systems in government, defense, or other regulated environments
• Knowledge of SAFe constructs such as ARTs, PI Planning, enablers, and system demos
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
