Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Data Engineer to join our DPS team in a remote work arrangement. As an Associate Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, as well as providing technical support for data analysis and visualization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve decision making. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using tools such as Python, SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell
- Provide technical support for data analysis and visualization, including data quality and integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve decision making
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement solutions
- Work with data suppliers to clarify requirements and eliminate barriers
- Drive automation into routine activities
- May perform other work obligations as directed by Employee's Managers
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related field
- Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with agile development methodologies
