Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services in Westchester County. They are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support programmatic and administrative operations within the Children, Youth, and Family team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all program documentation complies with organizational policies and funding guidelines
- Maintain databases and tracking systems for program data, participant information, and funding requirements
- Assist in preparing progress reports, grant applications, and evaluation summaries
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and strategic planning sessions
- Maintain accurate tracking of staff hours, time off, and resource allocation for the team
- Assist with participant intake, registration, and record-keeping
- Coordinate logistics for community events, youth activities, family nights, and workshops
- Handle routine correspondence with families, community partners, volunteers, and staff
- Support the development and dissemination of program flyers, newsletters, and outreach materials
Skills
- Relevant administrative or social services experience required
- Must be able to travel to sites as needed
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
