Job Overview Compensation: $15 per hour, competitive salary for the right candidate Location: Remote, work from home (must reside in the United States) Start Date: Immediate openings available Contract Duration: Long-term contract Training: 3 weeks of paid training to ensure your success in the role Key Responsibilities As a Remote Language Interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between Spanish and English speakers across various industries, including: Healthcare Government Insurance Financial Travel & Hospitality Government entities Your typical day may involve: Handling telephone calls on demand in a quiet home office Translating Spanish/English conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical Participating in video interpreting calls, which will require you to be comfortable being on camera Utilizing your language skills to help others in your community connect in meaningful ways Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Fluency in both Spanish and English The ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with Monday shifts required Manual dexterity to type or write notes A dedicated workspace with a high-speed internet connection The use of your personal iPhone or Android phone for work-related tasks A dry erase marker board for note-taking and other purposes While previous experience is not required, having education or work experience in teaching or translation is considered an asset.
