Job Description PURPOSE OF THE JOB Safely and efficiently performs a variety of duties within PBV’s warehouse operations to support both internal and external customers and meet business goals and demands. Duties will include pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, building pallets, wrapping, transporting, counting, performing quality control checks, dumping, rework, replenishing, and otherwise handling of PBV products, raw materials, packaging, and other warehouse goods and materials. The exact nature of the duties may vary, depending on the facility where the Warehouse Associate is employed. Responsibilities/Duties Verifies accuracy and quality of products that are received from vendors/suppliers and shipped to customers. Performs all check-in/check-out duties assigned and maintains proper records (Bill of Ladings (BOLs), receivers, pick tickets, and other usual and customary record keeping) for each individual task according to the warehouse standard operating procedures. Greet visitors/contractors and assist them with the sign in process. Communicates directions to drivers entering and exiting the facility. Maintains accurate logs and records on deliveries, shipments, and incoming and outgoing traffic. Process load tickets and prepare BOLs for outbound loads. Ensures accuracy and quality of work. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED is preferred. trong basic math skills required. Good communication skills required. Must have good interpersonal skills. Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Must be able to read and understand the difference in product labels and load ticket instructions. Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials. Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions Mental Functions ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS Repetitive and fast paced work for prolonged periods of time requiring frequent mental or visual effort or alertness. Physical Functions Constantly (67%-100%) required to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally (0%-33%%) required to sit, read, climb, reach, kneel, bend, push, crawl, reach, pull cases of product, walk, and stand. EQUIPMENT USED Yard switcher, tractors & trailers, dock plates, bay doors, floor scrubber, walkie-rider, forklift (single and double), palletizer, wrapper, HSPA Claw, cardboard baler, automated conveyors, paper and pen, dump bins, telephone, radios, screens, lights, and buzzers. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES None required. Language Skills Must be able to speak, read and write proficient English. Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer visa sponsorships to candidates.
