Verification and Validation Engineer (aerospace and medical devices)

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to ensure that product requirements have been met. The role involves writing verification plans, executing tests, and finalizing requirements traceability matrices as part of a cross-functional development team. Responsibilities Review and validate requirements on a cross-functional development team Review engineering standards for applicability and parse out requirements for safety and effectiveness Plan for testing and develop test procedures and protocols Execute test procedures when required, and report results using good documentation practices Understand and complete trace matrices Guide project teams in configuration management as it pertains to satisfaction of customer requirements Skills Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline 0-2 year experience in an engineering or quality role Expert-level ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret complex documents Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and complaints Ability to write problem statements, draw tightly worded conclusions, and form arguments supported by evidence for regulatory submission Consistent aptitude in creating accurate, succinct documentation appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills Very proficient with Business Applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Project Process-oriented individual Experience or training in software test Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) software is a plus (Cradle, CORE, Doors) Product lifecycle management tools like Arena, Omnify, or Agile CQE, CQA, SS Green Belt, SS Black Belt, RAC are all helpful Company Overview ALTEN Technology USA is an engineering consulting company.
