Revenue Accounting Manager- Enterprise Sales

Responsibilities Responsibilities • Manage the review and approval of on premise and cloud growth agreements, ensuring appropriate recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and other applicable standards • Provide support and guidance to Sales, Legal, and Order Management teams on deal structure and contractual terms for revenue compliance and optimization • Review business growth recognition documentation for executed agreements in the NORAM region, ensuring accurate assessment of non-standard technical accounting terms and computation of accounting adjustments needed • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding revenue accounting matters, providing necessary documentation and explanations • Continuously identify and implement improvements to revenue accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy Qualifications • 5+ years of revenue experience with 3 years minimally in a technical accounting role, ideally with experience with Public Companies • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and primarily revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) • Proficient in using large scale ERP systems (Oracle Fusion a plus), and Revpro • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans • Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels at the company • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills • BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Experience with a Big-4 accounting firm is strongly preferred Qualifications Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: $127,800 - $166,850 Zone B: $115,200 - $150,400 Zone C: $106,200 - $138,650 This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
