Creative People is a leading consumer tech company seeking a highly skilled YouTube Strategy Contractor to enhance its YouTube presence. The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive YouTube strategy aimed at driving brand awareness, user acquisition, and community engagement while managing content and performance analysis. Responsibilities • Develop and own the end-to-end YouTube strategy, including content pillars, editorial calendar, and KPIs that align with the company’s broader marketing goals. • Create a creative strategy aligned with YouTube’s best practices. Oversee content production from ideation and scripting to publishing, ensuring a steady pipeline of content to support media plans. Manage both evergreen and campaign-driven content in partnership with the internal creative studio. • Build and implement a measurement framework in partnership with key platform partners to assess campaign effectiveness. • Conduct in-depth analysis using YouTube Analytics and third-party tools to monitor performance, identify content gaps, and inform future strategy. • Execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies for every video, including keyword research, title and description optimization, and strategic tagging to maximize discoverability. • Drive community engagement by monitoring comments, identifying trends, and fostering a positive and active user base. Develop strategies to convert viewers into loyal customers and advocates. • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure the YouTube strategy supports integrated campaigns and aligns with brand messaging across the business. • Create and present regular reports on channel growth, engagement, and conversion metrics to key stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Skills • 5+ years of experience in YouTube strategy, channel management, or a related role with a strong portfolio showcasing past successes. • Deep expertise in YouTube’s platform, algorithm, best practices, and current trends in the creator economy. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and creative direction. • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting strategy and results to diverse stakeholders. • Proactive, independent, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to own projects from concept to execution. • Experience in the tech, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries. • Familiarity with retail media advertising and shoppable video content. • Experience collaborating with external creators, agencies, or influencers. • Basic proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
