[Remote] UPS Technician – New England

They are seeking a mid-level UPS Technician to maintain critical power systems across New England, providing hands-on experience and on-the-job training. Responsibilities • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential concerns • Perform preventive maintenance: check, clean, and repair UPS equipment • Conduct initial start-ups of new UPS systems • Respond to 24/7 on-call emergency service calls • Travel across New England, lifting 50+ lbs regularly • Collaborate on large installations and custom projects • Educate customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, co-workers, and sales reps • Safeguard company tools, equipment, and proprietary information • Troubleshoot critical power systems efficiently, minimizing downtime • Maintain your vehicle in safe working condition with a valid license and insurance • Identify potential sales opportunities for critical power solutions and coordinate with sales teams • Complete accurate paperwork, including Field Service Reports, timecards, and expense reports • Maintain technical documentation for ongoing learning and reference • Mentor less experienced technicians and attend product-specific training Skills • Approximately 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics or critical power systems • Self-starter who can work independently and with a team • Experience or educational background in electronics or electronic systems • Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in UPS and battery systems Benefits • Competitive pay and benefits.
