[Remote] Social/Clinical Research Specialist - Interviewer_CIDD

They are seeking a Social/Clinical Research Specialist to conduct interviews and complete questionnaires for residents with intellectual/developmental disabilities to assess their interest in community living. Responsibilities • Conduct in-person interviews with residents at State Developmental Centers (SDCs) and their legally responsible persons (LRPs). • Use provided tablet and laptop computers to record consumer responses and complete required documentation according to established protocols. • Provide own transportation to SDCs for in-person interviews. • Determine the location and date/time of interviews in coordination with consumers or responsible parties, which may include evenings or weekends. Skills • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. • Ability to communicate with families, conduct interviews, and work independently. • Experience in developmental disability or other forms of disability or related field. • Skills in technology and online communication. • A two or four-year degree or industry recognized certification in a related discipline and one year of related training or experience, or a combination of training and experience is preferred.
