[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Guest & Host (Listing)

The Senior Software Engineer will work with multiple teams to enhance the backend functionality for Hosts, ensuring a successful journey through effective collaboration and high-quality component development. Responsibilities • Collaboration with the Client Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams to align on product requirements • Driving the scoping, technical requirements, design, implementation, and operation of new functionality • Building high-quality, re-usable backend components • Mentoring and supporting other engineers in the team or in related teams Skills • 6+ years industry experience • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience • Experience in building high-quality, consumer-facing products • Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems • Ability to drive alignment, manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders • Experiences mentoring junior engineers Benefits • Bonus • Equity • Benefits • Employee Travel Credits Company Overview • Airbnb is an online community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book accommodations through mobile phones or the Internet.
