Remote Data Engineer & Administrator
The Data Engineer & Admin is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions and robust database systems. This role combines deep engineering expertise with database administration capabilities to drive high-performance data operations, ensure system reliability, and optimize workflows. Key responsibilities include supporting data-driven decision-making by architecting efficient data pipelines, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, and fostering collaboration across teams. A strong understanding of PostgreSQL, data warehousing, and tools like Snowflake and Kafka is essential. Familiarity with the telecommunications domain and tools like DataMesh and DataHub will be highly valued. This is a fully remote, 6-month contract-to-hire position, paying between $45-$55/hour.
