As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with healthcare facilities, providers, and other stakeholders to retrieve medical records, resolve queries, and ensure seamless communication. Key Responsibilities Make regular and persistent phone calls and/or other means of contact with healthcare facilities to retrieve medical records via fax, mail, remote electronic medical record access, or scheduling visits at the provider location. Meet established expectations and take responsibility for achieving results, encouraging others to do the same. Effectively communicate with team members and external providers to ensure adherence to challenging project timelines. Consistently model and inspire high levels of integrity, live up to commitments, and take responsibility for the impact of your actions. Increase your skills and knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, outreaching in queues, and taking on additional duties as assigned. Enhance department reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing goals and exploring new opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Complete additional tasks as required to support the division. Essential Qualifications and Education Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to utilize common sense. An outgoing and engaging personality with a client service focus. The ability to work collaboratively as a team player, building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional business partners, external partners, and others. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and typing at least 35 WPM. Dependability and a strong work ethic. The ability to make regular and persistent phone calls and/or other means of contact with healthcare facilities to complete each order timely. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry. Familiarity with medical records retrieval processes and healthcare operations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
