Remote Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Description: We are hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager AND a Commercial Lines Assistant. The book of business includes habitational properties, contractors and other commercial lines. Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service by responding to policyholders and carriers in a timely manner. • Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures. • Assist in marketing new and renewal business, determine premiums, and prepare proposals. • Quote new and renewal business. • Process change requests, endorsements, cancellations, issue binders and other related items. • Monitor policy expirations. • Assist clients with renewal process, reviewing policies for correct coverage. • Maintain client files accurately and consistently documenting conversations, and sending confirmations to clients. Requirements: • 5+ years experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager • In-depth knowledge of commercial lines coverage, specifically habitational and construction • Quoting experience with carriers (preferred) • Active producer license in state of residence • Active producer non-resident license in Massachusetts • Resident of and licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Maine • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint Outlook and Excel • 2+ years Applied EPIC experience • Detail-oriented • Strong organization skills • Problem-solving abilities • Ability to prioritize among several duties Pay Range: The anticipated pay range for this position is $30-40 per hour. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
