You will join an international, cross-functional team working on a new product – Single Risk Module – designed to make reinsurance single risk handling easier and efficient. Single Risk Module is an integrated solution that connects primary insurance and reinsurance operations. Automating reinsurance program management eliminates inefficiencies and reduces both operational and financial risks. The team consists of insurance experts, product owners, UI/UX designers, and software engineers focused on both backend and frontend technologies. About the role: We are looking for a Medior QA Engineer to collaborate with our development team in building and testing in-house products. You will be involved in planning, defining, and executing quality assurance activities, with a focus on test execution, defect management, and test automation. Key Responsibilities: Planning and executing manual and exploratory tests based on requirements and user stories. Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and designers to ensure a clear understanding of acceptance criteria. Reporting and tracking bugs, defects, and issues using defect management tools. Defining regression test scope based on quality risks. Contributing to regression test suites and supporting test automation efforts. Continuously suggesting improvements for product quality and testing practices. Monitoring issue severity and communicating risks to the team. Staying updated on testing trends and sharing knowledge within the team. Requirements 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience with writing and executing manual test cases and plans. Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development processes. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and concepts (quality, verification, validation). Experience in testing web applications and familiarity with web development. Knowledge of version control (Git). Interest in test automation and experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or comparable). Programming experience in an object-oriented language. Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar). Excellent analysis, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Professionalism and ability to work independently with a high sense of responsibility. Fluency in written and spoken English. Nice to have: Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Blueprint, or similar). Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests fit in. Experience with insurance processes (e.g., contracts, technical accounting, claims management).
