Job title: Procurement and Sourcing Specialist Company: ATN International, Inc. Job description: General Purpose and Scope: The primary purpose of this role is to evaluate supplier sources, products, optimal stocking levels, purchase quantity, and storage locations to improve service to customers while meeting company objectives. Further, the Sourcing Specialist will develop detailed reports and make recommendations to improve efficiency in the material acquisition process. Procurement and Sourcing Specialist Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Sourcing Management: • Receive requests for material from departments and determine the appropriate sourcing vehicle (inventory, established vendor, new vendor). • Solicit, negotiate, and place Purchase Orders with suppliers. • Track and expedite approved Purchase Orders and provide delivery forecast to appropriate department. • Responsible for assisting the inventory stocking plan across the supply chain network to improve service levels while minimizing cost and working capital. • Provide monthly forecasts to vendors. • Work cross-functionally with program teams and suppliers • Provide support to project teams with hardware subject matter expertise. • Provide equipment recommendations that meet departmental requirements. Supply Chain Optimization (Optimizing current & new): • Assist with implementing supply chain optimization projects to improve efficiency and reduce cost. • Develop, recommend, plan, and execute optimal inventory strategies for continual improvement of inventory management. Included will be a detailed review of purchasing options, MOQ/EOQ analysis, stocking locations. • Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence. Review out of stock situations or excessive stock issues and recommend mitigations. • Develop metrics, dashboards, and performance scorecards for KPIs: • Design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data. • Responsible for managing the maintenance of all system inputs related to supplier lead-times and re-order points. • Track and reconcile KPI performance versus established targets and report on performance. Leadership: • Promote a positive image and build strong relationships within the department, internal business partners, and vendors. • Demonstrate a consistent sense of urgency. • Perform as an independent resource with little supervision required for day-to-day tasks. • Provide analysis and make recommendations to drive and support organizational decision-making. Required Qualifications: • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management) • Working knowledge of MS Office and relational databases • Analytical mind with business acumen • Problem-solving aptitude • Proficiency in Excel • Attention to detail • Excellent communication skills • Outstanding organizational ability Desired Qualifications: • In depth knowledge of cell site hardware and components • Experience with Accrualify, Sitetracker and Netsuite • BSc/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist, or similar role is a plus • Prior experience in telecommunications or similar industry About the Company: Commnet has been the backbone of rural networks in the United States for decades.
