Plaintiff Mass Torts Staff Attorney

They are seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Attorney to manage mass tort matters, focusing on client management in complex litigation without traditional litigation responsibilities. Responsibilities Evaluate the merits of potential mass tort and product liability cases Manage an active litigation docket with cases at various stages of development Conduct client intake and maintain consistent client communication Draft plaintiff fact sheets, claim submissions, correspondence, and reports Review, organize, and analyze medical records and other case documentation Prepare detailed case evaluations, damages analyses, and settlement recommendations Perform legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and discovery materials Maintain docket calendars and ensure deadlines are met Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, intake specialists, and staff Manage and direct an assigned intake or support team, as applicable Interface with clients, client representatives, and experts Participate in firm-wide case strategy and team collaboration Skills JD from an accredited law school At least one year of litigation experience, preferably in mass torts, product liability, warranty defense, insurance defense, or complex civil litigation Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail Ability to accurately assess legal risk and calculate damages and settlement options Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage a high-volume docket with minimal supervision Team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to work independently Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines Willingness to travel periodically for case related support as needed Active California bar license and good standing Qualified candidates licensed in other states may be considered Benefits Employer-paid health insurance Dental and vision insurance HSA with employer contribution 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Supportive and collaborative work environment with professional development opportunities Company Overview Kershaw Talley Barlow is a legal firm that provides litigation services for class actions and mass torts.
