Market Operations Director

As Market Operations Director, you'll be the bridge between Axiom's platform and our clients' audiences, ensuring our embedded prediction markets thrive on sites like Forbes. This role focuses on creating, curating, and resolving markets in close collaboration with our COO and client stakeholders. This is a pivotal position in a dynamic startup environment. You'll report directly to the COO and work alongside design, engineering, and client teams to deliver exceptional market experiences. Key Responsibilities • Market Creation and Curation: Design and deploy markets using internal tools, aligning them with clients' content calendars. Prioritize redundant markets (those that integrate across multiple articles) to boost volume, engagement, and utility. Set resolution criteria in clear, fair and common sense ways for our users. • Client Coordination: Partner with business and editorial teams at clients to align markets with upcoming content, fostering seamless integration. • Market Resolution: Resolve settled markets by determining outcomes, which may involve tracking headlines, verifying external data sources, or consulting with experts for accurate adjudication. • Moderation and Integrity: Monitor for market manipulation, ban or approve accounts as needed, and handle content moderation to maintain fairness and trust. • Support and Triage: Address user support tickets promptly, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolutions. Escalate to design or engineering where necessary • Performance Tracking: Analyze market metrics (e.g., participation, accuracy, engagement) and iterate on market designs to optimize outcomes. • Opportunity Identification: Scout for special events, seasonal trends, or timely topics to create unique, high-impact markets in collaboration with clients. • Product Feedback: Provide actionable recommendations to design and engineering teams to enhance the user experience for prediction market participants. • New Business: Consider new ways to deepen our relationship and value to our partners through product or non product initiatives.
