And we do it all with heart, each and every day. • This position is fully remote, applicants can live anywhere in the the contiguous United States* We are seeking a data-driven Lead Director of Workforce & Capacity Planning Analytics to lead the strategic development and execution of key analytics capabilities that optimize workforce planning, demand forecasting, staffing strategy that will impact operational performance across the enterprise. This highly visible leadership role will be responsible for delivering data driven insights, advanced analytics, and scalable solutions that enhance workforce planning efficiency, drive operational excellence, and enable informed decision making at the executive level. The ideal candidate is a seasoned analytics leader with a deep expertise in workforce strategy, a strong technological orientation, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams that deliver measurable business impact. The Lead Director of Workforce & Capacity Planning Analytics leads department by providing strategic leadership and overseeing resource planning functions. Develops and implements resource planning strategies, manages a team of resource planning professionals, collaborates with senior stakeholders to align resource plans with organizational goals, and ensures effective resource allocation and optimization. Drives process improvements, monitors resource performance, and provides guidance to the team to achieve efficient resource utilization and meet business objectives. What You Will Do Develops a team to analyze historical data, market trends, patient demographics, and other relevant factors which help forecast future demands for healthcare services. Controls and monitors resources, staffing levels, facility capacities, equipment needs, and other resources crucial to delivering quality patient care and meeting forecasted demands. Develops a methodology for optimizing the allocation of resources, such as healthcare professionals, support staff, equipment, and facilities while meeting financial objectives. Contributes to top-level decision-making surrounding new initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy, capacity utilization, patient wait times, and resource allocation. Communicates strategically across the organization to gather input, share forecasts, and align capacity planning strategies with organizational goals. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Technology, Analytics, or related field; Master’s preferred. • 10+ years of experience in large-scale workforce, operations, or business optimization roles • Demonstrated success in developing and executing enterprise workforce strategies, aligning labor management with corporate goals. • Strong financial labor management acumen, with a proven track record of building data driven actionable insights • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with peers, team leadership and operational stakeholders. • Proven ability to design and lead an analytics team that produces capacity and labor forecast modeling, scenario based staffing models and bottom up labor planning models. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in a healthcare or payer setting. • Familiarity with workforce management systems such as UKG/Kronos, Verint, or scheduling/forecasting platforms. • Experience working in large, complex organizations with multi-location or multi-shift operations. • Proven ability to build high-performing leadership teams and foster talent development. • Ideally in regulated or SLA-driven industries (e.g., healthcare, retail, insurance, logistics, financial services Education • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related field; Master’s preferred. Pay Range The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
