Junior Data Engineer

Summary This position is within Data Services Team, responsible for data engineering processes supporting Analytics and Reporting solution for Bath & Body Works. This role engaged with a team to architect the design and build data pipelines into our data platforms that meets business requirements and SLA. It will also be supporting data platforms. Responsibilities • Assist Data Engineering team in designing, building, testing and maintenance of data pipelines to support analytics and operational processes. • Work with Sr. Data engineers to ingest, clean and transform raw data from various sources. • Support data quality and data integrity initiatives by implementing validation and monitoring steps. • Collaborate with key parties to understand data requirements and assist in creating data models and ETL workflows. • Contribute to documentation and sharing of knowledge within the team. • Help to maintain and monitor the data platforms Qualifications Required: • 1+ years of experience with cloud-based data platform like Snowflake, BigQuery • 1+ years of scripting experience – Bash, Python, Perl • Understanding of data warehousing concepts Nice to Haves: • 1+ years of experience in supporting software on Linux Platform • 1+ Years’ experience with an ETL Tool like Talend, IBM DataStage, Informatica • Knowledge of version control tools like Git Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; or equivalent combination or relevant education and experience.
