Position Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Development is responsible for driving the company’s long-term growth through strategic initiatives, partnerships, investments, and market expansion.
This role plays a critical leadership position in identifying and executing opportunities that enhance enterprise value and competitive positioning.
Role Focus: Growth strategy, deal execution, and expansion leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth Leadership
Lead the development and execution of corporate growth strategies.
Identify high-impact opportunities across markets, products, and partnerships.
Align strategic initiatives with company objectives and long-term vision.
2. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Build and manage strategic partnerships with key industry players.
Structure and negotiate high-value agreements and alliances.
Develop a strong ecosystem (institutions, liquidity providers, platforms).
3. Corporate Development (M&A / Investments)
Lead mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment initiatives.
Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes.
Execute deals from sourcing to closing.
4. Market Expansion
Drive entry into new markets and regions.
Assess regulatory environments and competitive dynamics.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
5. Strategic Analysis & Decision Support
Provide insights on industry trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
Support executive decision-making with data-driven analysis.
Evaluate risks and returns on strategic initiatives.
6. Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with product, finance, legal, and operations teams.
Ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
Influence senior stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
15+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, investment banking, or consulting.
Proven track record in partnerships, M&A, or strategic growth initiatives.
Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience in fintech, crypto, investment banking, or high-growth tech companies.
Strong industry network and deal-making experience.
