Opportunity Overview Opportunity Overview: Edward Jones is looking for a team leader to help support innovation in the Client Document Experience product space.  This person will have dual responsibilities of product delivery management over multiple durable product delivery teams focused on client document applications and people leadership for the software development engineers within those teams. In the product delivery management portion of the role, this leader will be responsible for: - Continual strategy setting and evaluation of delivery team structure in alignment with firm need - Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and relationships with Products, QE, UX, and Enterprise Architecture - Removing obstacles and coordinating resources to continually increase team throughput, predictability, and quality - Reducing cycle times and improving usability scores by driving improvement of all things related to software delivery for teams in their remit - Working across technology shared services teams to remove impediments and obstacles for improvement of product delivery and cycle time - Contribution and maintenance of a product technology roadmap and backlog and the application of architectural standards in the team’s deliverables - Develop and execute on-going improvements for processes related to the team - Deep understanding of the product team’s systems, processes, priorities, and technologies while representing these aspects to all levels of Technology leadership - Guide teams to do their work in a way that minimizes key-person dependencies and knowledge silos - Representation to ensure firm and division processes are followed and risk is reduced by the product team (e.g. compliance change management, information security, etc.) - Ability to hold teams accountable for setting and achieving delivery commitments. Check out our U.S. awards and accolades: Insights & Information Blog Postings about Edward Jones Check out our Canadian awards and accolades: Insights & Information Blog Postings about Edward Jones Country United States Search Headquarters Positions by Area of Interest TECHNOLOGY Position Requirements Position Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience - Demonstrated experience leading enterprise document management teams supporting complex, large organizations. - 8+ years of experience in software development or technology delivery - 3+ years of experience leading software delivery teams, including people leadership - Proven ability to lead multiple teams delivering enterprise scale applications - Strong knowledge of modern software delivery practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps) - Experience improving delivery predictability, quality, and cycle time - Ability to partner effectively with Product, QE, UX, Architecture, and shared services - Demonstrated experience coaching and developing engineers and managing vendors or contractors - Experience working in large, complex, or regulated environments Salary Information Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
