R16 Interactive is a lean, high-caliber team building Tale’s Edge, a gritty action-adventure RPG set in a shared universe of dark, reimagined Grimm’s fairy tales. The Role:
The Sound Designer will define the audio personality of the game — from environmental presence to combat feedback to subtle narrative cues and atmospheric ambience. They are responsible for shaping a world that players feel through sound.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement high-quality sound effects for characters, environments, UI, and gameplay events.
• Collaborate with the composer for a cohesive audio direction.
• Integrate and optimize audio in Unreal Engine using industry best practices (our sound pipeline has yet to be established, so you can help build it).
Requirements:
• Proven credits on at least one shipped PC/console title.
• Strong Unreal Engine audio implementation skills (Wwise or FMOD).
• Portfolio/reel demonstrating range and quality.
